CONGRATS!
Yay! You're the proud new owner of a floral creation by Poppy's Garden. First off, be sure to remove any packaging your flowers came in (box, brown paper, twine).

COOL, FRESH WATER
If your flowers came in a wrap, give the ends a fresh cut before you place them into cool water. For best results use sharp garden shears or kitchen scissors; craft scissors are not sharp enough and will often smash the stems, doing more harm than good. For arrangements in a vase, be sure to top off the vase with water daily.

FIND A HAPPY SPOT
Display your flowers in a cool spot out of direct sunlight and away from high heat (like under a light fixture or lamp).

ADMIRE FONDLY
Sit back and enjoy! Get to know each lovingly chosen Poppy's Garden flower. Every so often, check for any flowers that are wilting and remove. Some flower varieties will last longer than others. For instance, carnations and roses will typically outlast peonies and garden roses. Removing the flowers that are past their prime will prevent bacteria from forming in the water and on the flowers that have more life to live.
