Poppy’s Garden is a floral design company known for creating organic, lush, and romantic arrangements, using wild textures and luxurious blooms that reflect natures inherent unruliness. It is our hope that each arrangement we create for our customers is something memorable. We love creating textural designs inspired by nature often looking gathered, overgrown, and beautifully unexpected.
In July of 2017 we opened our retail location in Downtown Muskogee. We are a full service flower shop offering flowers, a large variety of house plants, regionally grown succulents & cacti, and gifts for your everyday needs to large scale weddings & events. We understand that flowers can be tied to the most important moments in our lives; birthdays, engagements, births, even when expressing grief. We understand that flowers are more than just a gift, and that is why we strive to provide the utmost level of customer service. We truly believe people are simply happier when they are surrounded by plants and flowers. |
Hello! I'm Meagan, a Muskogee, Oklahoma native and the owner and designer of Poppy’s Garden. Being creative has always been a significant part of my life. Floral design, for me, is a found and first love. It is something I didn’t know I wanted until I stumbled upon it while helping friends and family with their weddings and events over the past few years. After fumbling from office job to office job and finding myself in an uninspiring stage in life, I decided to start my floral design journey and it has been an adventure ever since. Poppy’s Garden allows me to combine my passion for people, beautiful flowers, foliage, color, texture, botanicals, and fabulous spaces to create one of a kind arrangements and details for beautiful events. My goal is to make a difference in the lives of others through the beauty of floral design.
I studied floral design at the Floral Design Institute in Portland, Oregon where I became a Certified Floral Designer and Wedding Floral Specialist. When I’m not playing with beautiful blooms, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, loving on Millie my Weimaraner, working on ongoing projects, and exploring local antique stores and restaurants. |
